Doctrinaire- seeking to impose a doctrine in all circumstances without regard to practical considerations.
Indoctrinate- teaching to accept a set of beliefs uncritically
There is a reason why we have evolved negative words like indoctrinate and doctrinaire from the church's concept of doctrine. The notion of doctrine as something ,which is unassailable and must be believed, means that critical analysis and consideration of implications are not necessary or even allowed. In such an atmosphere, what passes for church instruction is properly labeled indoctrination, and the adjective, "doctrinaire" then applies to all such instructors.
Whenever, you experience being indoctrinated by a doctrinaire instructor, consider whether the underlying motivation for that effort comes from the orthodox church. They love being right and sharing that fact with the rest of us.
