The second law of thermodynamics states that a closed system naturally moves toward increased randomness or chaos. The natural or physical world, in this sense, tends to decrease in complexity and orderliness.
However, physicists have proposed that the law of gravity provides the means to bring order out of chaos. According to their theory of the origin of the universe, gravitational attraction after the Big Bang coalesced random matter into stars and planets which then ultimately served as the incubator of life as we know it. Theoretically this one universal force, a force which is still largely mysterious to science, accounts for a vast evolutionary creative process, a process which started with utmost simplicity and resulted in unimaginable complexity.
In a similar fashion, love services as the universal spiritual force which brings order out of the chaos of human existence. This force inexorably draws mankind upward toward our ultimate potential as creatures made in the image of God. Love draws us to the source of all Love.
